Introduction and Scope

These General Terms and Conditions of Use govern your access to and use of https://www.mydonorfamily.com and the MyDonorFamily online platform (“the Site” and “the Service”).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these General Terms, our Code of Conduct and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Site.

About the Service

Purpose of the Service
MyDonorFamily provides access to an online database where registered users can connect with other users linked to the same sperm or egg donor.

Donor Groups
The Service contains donor groups where members may share information, photos and messages. The content of each group depends on the participation of other members.

No Guarantee of Contact
MyDonorFamily cannot guarantee that use of the Service will result in contact with donor siblings or other members.

Registration and Account

Account Creation
To use the Service, you must register and create an account. You must provide accurate and complete information.

Donor Information
You are responsible for entering correct donor information. MyDonorFamily is not liable for incorrect donor group placement resulting from inaccurate information provided by you.

Minimum AgeM
You must be at least 15 years old to hold an account.

Code of Conduct

The following rules apply to all users:

• No impersonation
• Be respectful and non-discriminatory
• No spam, advertising or malicious code
• No illegal activity
• Respect intellectual property rights
• Respect donor anonymity
• Respect privacy of other members
• One account per person

Violation may result in warning, suspension or termination.

Free Basic Membership

Basic Membership is free of charge and grants limited access to donor groups.

Basic Members:

• Can see number of members and activity indicators
• Cannot view content or contact other members
• Can delete their account at any time

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site belongs to MyDonorFamily unless otherwise stated. Scraping or unauthorized use is prohibited.

You grant MyDonorFamily the right to host and display content you upload for purposes of providing the Service.

Availability and Technical Limitations

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Downtime may occur due to maintenance or technical issues beyond our control.

Liability

MyDonorFamily provides the technical platform only. We are not responsible for:

• Accuracy of user-provided information
• Conduct of members
• Failure to establish contact with donor siblings
• Misuse of personal information by members
• Technical interruptions outside our control

Liability is limited to the extent permitted by Danish law.

Personal Data

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These General Terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes shall be settled at Aarhus Court, Denmark.
